All our history workshops are designed to complement project led learning.
They are cross-curricular and fully hands-on.
Each workshop is designed for up to 60 pupils for a full day (up to 120 in some circumstances).

Typical plan

~ Introduction and scene setting (time -line regression if necessary)

   ~ 4 hands-on workshop sessions
          - Artefact handling [all periods]
          - Toys and games [all periods]
          - 2 x craft based sessions [varies according to period]
                pupils take part in all 4 workshops

   ~ A selection of short presentations based on
         - Technology
        - Costume
       - Lifestyle

   ~ A question and answer session using artefacts to prompt discussion

This format suits most of our customers but we always consult with staff before a session to confirm content. We are able to make adjustments to ensure cover of any specific elements required.
Where necessary we are happy to create new workshops and specific subjects.
